Paddle Ball Champions!

These four ladies in third grade beat the rest of the school in CFJ's "Keep it Going" competition. It took them 3:10 to volley a wiffle ball 30 times in a row! Well done girls.

Heart Hero!

This student from Charles F. Johnson was the first to bring in her #JRFH envelope. This is a reminder that all envelopes are due back to your student's PE teacher by February 26th! Our Jump Rope For Heart event is on February 29th at 5:30 PM. The event will be held at George F. Johnson.

Jump Rope For Heart

February is "Healthy Heart Month!" If your student is in third to sixth grade he/she can participate in Jump Rope for Heart (JRFH)! At the end of the month we will celebrate how much money Union-Endicott has raised for the American Heart Association with a party at George F. Johnson. If your student is interested he/she can stop by the gym and pick up a permission form! If you need more details you can email your student's physical education teacher.

Assessment in PE

Assessment in physical education? You bet! In this photo Mr. Buck is using the app "plickers" to assess students at the end of class. This is one way #UEPE is using technology to enhance learning while making it fun!
